The Jury Trial Consultants all have educational backgrounds in the social sciences with advanced degrees in Consumer Psychology, Social Psychology, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Neuropsychology, Communications, and Law. We favor the more rigorous applied psychology disciplines from top universities.
The Jury Trial Consultants will spotlight one of our consultants each month in this “In the Spotlight” section.
This Month’s “In the Spotlight”:
Dr. James Wright, co-founder and Director of our Miami office.
![]() The Jury Trial Consultants co-founder Dr. James Wright has a Ph.D. in Consumer Psychology from Texas A & M University, Master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology, and Bachelor’s degree with specialization in Biopsychology from University of California, Santa Barbara.
Dr. Wright has been a jury and trial consultant for the better part of two decades. He has worked as a director for three major national litigation consulting firms on high-profile cases totaling billions of dollars in damages. Dr. Wright has consulted for major television networks, cable and international television stations, and print media including major newspapers, and serves as frequent expert commentator for media outlets.
The Jury Trial Consultants have modeled our methodology and approach on the psychological research and persuasion techniques utilized in consumer research and advertising. Consumer psychology provides insight into jury preconceptions in corporate civil litigation. Jurors perceive most litigants through the lens of a consumer because this is their primary frame of reference for those organizations.
Dr. Wright has also conducted classified psychological research for US Naval Intelligence and he performed all simulator stunt-driving footage for The History Channel® television show Modern Marvels episode on automobile accidents.
